I’m back in the kitchen at my new raw retreat. My lunch today was a very filling salad with an amazing orange walnut dressing.

What kind of pickles do you use? Are they raw?

they are raw. As far as I know all pickles are raw. I got them at the local farmers market.

What type of pickles are you using? My husband and I make our own using vinegar w/cucumbers from our garden. We are researching fermenting this summer’s crop. What is your opinion on which process is better/healthier?

OMG– I made this right along with you. I just happened to have all the ingredients you mentioned right in my frig. How great it must be to know how to just whip up a dressing with whatever you have in the around. Thanks so much for sharing. Where can I get more of your ideas for dressings, salad, etc? You’re amazing.

That salad looks amazing! Can’t wait to try the dressing. I enjoy pickles myself but find that the store bought ones tend to have preservatives. what kind did you use or recommend? Thanks for your ministry!!

That looks awesome Paul! I can’t wait to make it
My almost 3 month old is not able to handle too many different kinds of vegetables unfortunately. I guess I wil have to wait a little longer for the cucumber, tomatoes, collards and pickles
Oh well, it is still fun to dream of the day I can eat it.

looks good can’t wait to try! When I don’t have a juicer around, I use a spoon to scoop juice from citrus…works better than squeezing and I get a little pulp that adds fiber and flavor.
