this lady makes and promotes on her

I grew up in a family like that. Meat with every meal. Salad meant “iceberg lettuce” with high fat dressing. Snacks were sugar cereals or high fat baked goods.
I had IBS at a very early age due to the way our family ate. I was sick everytime I ate pork products and to this day they all say, “it is all in my head.”
They all are obese and have serious health related issues…very serious. My husband, kids and I have been eating vegan…raw whenever possible and in the last year most of our issues have been disappearing.
I have no doubt that Paula Dean and others are just pawns of companies trying to get their products into the stomachs of the world. Everything about America is a marketing scheme. From churches to the kitchen…we live in an advertising matrix.

We definately reap what we sow. Before adopting the raw/vegan lifestyle almost a year ago, I ate like that too! -What a blessing to be free from that unhealthy food… I will be praying for Paula. Maybe you could write her or send her one of your books.

Shalom paul rants are no problem, smile keep being a blessing. i don’t watch tv, except once in a blue moon. the gym is more interesting than sitting on the couch I really like curves gym everyone should be doing some kind of excersise routine. i was brought up on burger king, Mcdonalds, tv dinners as a child and not very healthy food varieties and it does harm our health. my family and I suffer from a variety of health issues because of the foods we ate and the consequences are devistating. one of my family members doesn’t eat and skips meals that’s not a good thing and thinks most veggies are discusting. I’m trying to change my way of eating and i really enjoy these health videos you make and inspire’s me. Your one of my friends who inspired me to start going to the gym and i really like the gym it’s a lot fun. at the womens gym, were having a weightloss contest to see who can lose the most weight and did you realize veggies are accually addicting i love fresh raw salads. was wondering how do i become use to the taste of the bitter salty green leafy veggies such a collard greens and mustard greens bokchoy etc..

You are right about not being surprised regarding the health breakdown of Paula Dean. I’m sorry she has diabetes. The disease is a result of tying emotions with certain types of food, then eating and cooking them frequently because of those emotional ties. Break that curse by creating new habits and emotional memories with GREAT food, LIVING food, HEALTHY food in it’s most natural form. Life begets life. If you eat dead food, cooked to death, stripped of nutrition, you are eating dead, worthless stuff and you begin to die faster than you were designed to. Paula could show how much she loves people more than money by insisting on a transformation in her cooking show. If they fired her, she would have an immense following of people who love her stand up for her and want to hear what she has to say. She may even have another network pick her up based on those numbers alone. In any case, glad you are speaking the truth. Best to you and your family.

Paul ~ I couldn’t agree with you more! Thank you for being strong and speaking your mind, i.e., the TRUTH! When I first saw her on the news, I could hardly believe my ears! It IS “all about the money” (in my opinion) – how sad is that! As you know, the Word says that it is the LOVE of money that is the root of all evil. Having money is great, but not at the expense of hurting others! Dishing out such recipes as Paula Deen does, and knowing what she now knows about her diabetes, and then continuing to “preach” her diet, and adding on the promotion of a DRUG for the diabetes, which her diet caused in the first place – well, I find it simply apalling! And it IS hurting others who are ignorant of the truth or are simple-minded followers of that which appeals to the flesh! Let’s pray for her, Paul!
God bless you, brother!

I second that motion!!
I glad you had the guts to call it as it is.
We occasionally watch Paula and always comment on the butter, fried butter, pork and other greasy foods.

Thank you again Paul! My coursework is so heavy right now, I really don’t have time to view the news, but I was appaled to find out Paula Deen continue to promote her high fat diet recipes AND she has a restaurant in Savannah Georgia – When I visited Savannah I didn’t eat at her restaurant, there isn’t anything on the menu that I could eat.
My aunt watches Paula Deen my aunt is 82 years old and has survived a stroke, all because she decided to eat the wrong foods. I keep my aunt several days each week, and I have never heard Paula Deen say anything about moderation.
Even her green foods were devoid of any nutrittional value, after Paula has cooked them to death in FAT
Paula Deen continued her ways just for one thing MONEY.

I agree with you Paul, but we need to find a gentler approach to these people if they are ever going to change. I pray for people like Paula who should know better, maybe they do not know that a healthier diet is not a burden. Once you get off the High Fat, High Sugar, High Sodium Diet, it takes some time but healthy foods will begin to taste good and unhealthy not so good. Unfortunately Millions are making the Pharmaceutical Drug Lords rich and destroying their vitality at the same time. I work in the system and do at least the little I can to educate those that are willing to listen. Keep up the good work.
Shalom

I was out somewhere the other day and someone had the tv on. It was a food show where people were competing for $10,000 to make the best cupcakes. I have not seen tv in a while and I used to like to watch cooking shows, but I realize now that cooking in this country has been some kind of idol for a long time, but now it seems bizarre. The next show was even weirder. So, I guess there is a lot of money to be made in it, but it seems kind of dismal to think this sort of thing is in demand – that so many people like this. If you can make a dent in it all, then that is great.

Thanks again Paul for your inspiring videos. Ever considered posting a video once a month with a raw recipe meal for us to eat?
